Treasure Hunting by the Accords

Follow the rules, ye dogs, or ye'll bring the wrath of the Fae down on all of us...

  • In respect of the Accords, the treasure hunt will begin when breakfast is served on Saturday morning. No treasures may be gathered, touched, or otherwise meddled with until such time. Any adventurer breaking this rule will be disqualified and face the wrath of the Fae.

  • Treasures will all carry a numbered item tag, so that no “mistakes” will be made by you scallywags regarding the nature of an item...

  • The smallest of items tend to be wrapped in colorful pixie gossamer for safe-keeping, so keep a lookout for flashes of light and color out on the hunt.

  • A general map of hunting areas in which treasures seem to be most concentrated will be provided, though there are also rich veins along the forest trails...

  • Once you have collected an item, you may see the Ambassador at any time for more details on the item's known story, if any.

  • Tagged items that are in your loot bag may not be stolen. However, any item with a tag left sitting around is fair game for other adventurers. Tags may not be removed until the Great Totaling at the Adventurer's Feast on Saturday Evening.

  • You may play the game solo, or band together as a crew to increase your odds. The Fae Title "Hunter of the Green" may only go to one player, however; and your crew will have to decide themselves which amongst them deserves this award. The Fae take no position in crew squabbles.

  • Each item obtained has a point value indicative of the difficulty involved in finding (or keeping!) it.

  • The winner shall be the adventurer that has the highest point value in treasure by the time of the Great Totaling.

  • Any tagged treasures left uncollected afterward may still be rounded up any time until the end of the adventure.

Hear ye! Hear ye!

The Fae Courts invite all adventurers, fortune-seekers and fae-touched kin to come forth in competition for the Fae title “Hunter of the Green”, to be awarded at Mystic Mountain Treasure Hunting Adventure. This title comes with the right to wear and display with pride the Title Crown, “The Eye of the Grove” - a one-of-a kind talisman of ritual might and honour - until the title be handed over to the winner of next year's competition.

"The Eye of the Grove"

The complete wire-work circlet features 218 rhinestones, bud-green Swarovski crystals and emerald Czech fire-polished glass beads. Adjustable frame to accommodate any shape adventurer.
